Driving training pause for lockdown 3

The Government has announced a further lockdown 3.0 and the DVSA have informed all driving schools that there is no driving training and no theory/practical tests.

BIG TOM Driving School is keeping all customers up to date with the very latest.  We would like to thank all customers for their patience, we can appreciate how frustrating this must be for you all.  

Rest assured that we will continue to do everything we can to ensure that delays are kept to a minimum. 

As was the case with previous lockdowns, we continue to offer our customers 1:1 online theory study support at no extra cost.  This is an ideal use of this downtime to make sure you are properly prepared for your theory test.  The DVSA has stated that should the two year theory pass period expire as a result of these lockdowns, then the theory test will need to be taken again.  The rationale they give for their policy is that it is important that newly qualified drivers who drive on public roads have got recent knowledge of the rules of the road.
